2. Summary
- This website does not use analytics, tracking or marketing cookies, nor social media plugins.
- Fonts, images and scripts are loaded exclusively from our own server – there is no connection to Google Fonts or other CDNs.
- Google Maps and the virtual tour (Google Street View) are only loaded after you actively consent (two-click solution).
- Data from the inquiry form is only sent to us by email to process your inquiry.
- Online bookings take place on the booking platform of our service provider SiteMinder, to which you are redirected.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by an external hosting provider acting on our behalf (processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit the website, the web server automatically stores technically necessary information transmitted by your browser (IP address, date and time, page requested, status code, amount of data, referrer, browser, operating system). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short time unless needed to investigate a specific security incident.
4. Cookies and local storage
We do not set cookies. Only the following entries are stored in your browser's local storage, and only if you actively use the respective function: hh-theme (your choice of dark mode) and hh-consent-maps (your consent to load Google Maps/Street View without asking again). You can change or revoke these at any time via the .
5. Inquiry form, email and phone
If you send us a non-binding booking inquiry, we process the data you enter (travel dates, number and ages of guests, room preference, special requests, salutation, title, first and last name, email address and, optionally, address and phone number) in order to prepare an offer and contact you. The data is sent to us by email and is not stored in a database on the website. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. We delete your data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Online booking via SiteMinder
For online bookings we redirect you to the booking platform direct-book.com of our service provider SiteMinder. When you submit the booking form on our website, only your travel dates and the number of guests are passed on as part of the web address. Data processing within the booking is carried out by SiteMinder and used exclusively to handle your inquiries and bookings (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). 7. Google Maps and Street View (only with consent)
On the arrival page you can display a Google Maps map and on the accommodation page a virtual tour (Google Street View). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The content is only loaded once you click “Load map” or “Load content”. A connection to Google servers is then established and, among other things, your IP address is transmitted; a transfer to the USA is possible. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the privacy settings. 8. Google reviews
The guest reviews shown on this website come from our public Google Business Profile. They are stored as static text on our server; no connection to Google is established when they are displayed. Surnames are abbreviated. If you would like a review you wrote to be removed, simply email office@hotel-hudelist.at.
9. Links to Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps
We link to our pages on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) and to our Google Maps listing. These are simple links, not embedded plugins: only when you click such a link are you redirected to the respective provider, whose privacy policy then applies.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent (Art. 15–21 and Art. 7(3) GDPR).
